The second edition of European Kabaddi Championship was held in Cyprus in 2021 which was organized by World Kabaddi Federation. Poland retained their title by beating hosts Cyprus in the final, 29-15.
The first edition of European Kabaddi Championship was held in Scotland in 2019. The final match was between Poland and Holland, Poland won the tournament. Final score was Poland 47–27 Holland.
The 2012 Kabaddi World Championship was the first Kabaddi World Cup held for women. It was organised by The Government of Bihar and the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India. It was held at Patna from 1 to 4 March 2012
